About
The Artist, the Process, The Company

Arts Meets Glass describes my unique paintings, which are enhanced with the brilliance and shine of glass.
I use each functional, clear glass plate (upside down, of course) as a canvas, on which I create my original designs.
The combination of reverse painting with a decoupage technique results in vivid pieces bursting with color. No firing is involved.

Many of you may know my work from my former business named Sevuplates.
It's time to retire that name (which was almost never pronounced correctly) and reinvent myself.
I have created a new logo, website, storefront, and show information.
What remains the same is my love of color, design, and texture.
This site is designed to tell you about Art Meets Glass, answer any questions you may have,
inform you of upcoming shows, and take you to an awesome site called Etsy,
where you will find my secure storefront to purchase my plates, clocks, and necklaces.
You may also find a link to my new blog, which is about life, parenting, creating, and many other funny stories.

Each plates is finished with several layers of water-resistant enamel, which cures in 72 hours.
These plates can be used as decorative pieces or for serving food.
They must be hand washed and dried quickly after washing.

My new home is in Northern San Diego where I live with my wonderful husband of 15 years,
my two amazing teenage boys, and our two pugs.

Below is an old postcard with my platters.
